Congres Rezonanta Magnetica 2011

Stimati colegi,

Congresul este structurat in urmatoarele simpozioane:

  • IRM- Prioritati diagnostice in Patologie SNC (protocoale avansate de explorare cerebrala)
  • Aportul IRM in patologia osteo-articulara
  • Patologia sanului
  • Actualitati in imagistica IRM a prostatei si pelvisului feminin
  • Spectroscopia RM in practica clinica
  • Simpozionul tehnicienilor si operatorilor

In numele Comitetului de Organizare,

Prof.Dr.Ioan Codorean

FOREWORD

I am extremely privileged to write this foreword on the occasion of the 3rd Congress of the Romanian Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (RSMRM) and the fourth encounter of the members of the Romanian Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM). Given today’s circumstances, I do understand the – sometimes insurmountable – difficulties encountered by the organizers to put together such a great scientific manifestation. This is why I think they fully deserve the admiration and gratefulness of all participants.

While browsing through the program, I was so happy to see the tremendous progress made by YOU since those days of timid beginnings, sixteen years ago.

However, the incredible speed of development in MR is imposing not only exceptional efforts in learning, but also in strengthening your relations with the Society and taking advantage of the opportunities it offers.

Today’s scientific achievements, from the research laboratory to the clinic, are truly impossible without a strong interdisciplinary cooperation. The Romanian SMRM is based on the outstanding principles of the ISMRM, that promote collaboration between clinicians (MDs) and scientists (PhDs) of disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physiology, biomedical engineering, etc.
The valuable contribution of technicians is genuinely acknowledged.

The Society also offers that wonderful ingredient – friendship – that gives to intellectual life a touch of elegance!

Best wishes of success at this Congress and in all your endeavors.
